Albert Bridge

Albert Bridge, See Battersea Power station, and Vauxhall towers between the spans.

Lovely Thames bridge connecting Battersea to Chelsea. Built in 1873, you can tell by how narrow it is, that it’s not built for modern traffic. In this picture between the spans there’s the chimneys from Battersea power station. this has very special meaning to me as my father worked there for well over twenty years, he’s been passed away for a while now, but I can still see him (in my memory) cycling back home on his bike after work. Over to the left of the chimneys is the newly built Vauxhall Towers. I fully intend to get closer to this building and get some great pics, It truly is a work of magnificence. Love this City
